Tape Media Services / Tape Restoration
Whether it's for discovery or restoring data from retired backup systems, Cherry provides restoration services for all tape backup formats and tape types. No knowledge of the original backup type is required as we are able to automatically recognize the backup format and quickly restore the files. We are able to restore all file types including email, database, user files, etc as well as all backup types including full, differential and incremental.

Tape Recovery
Cherry can provide a physical (damage to the media or plastics) or logical (unable to access files on the tape) data recovery from virtually all backup applications and media types.
Examples of a data recovery service include:
- Damaged or broken tapes
