Our Data Recovery Process gets your Data and Content back to where you can use it.
We patiently answer all of your initial questions by phone or email.
You send us the hard drive or other storage media.
On the day we receive your hard drive, we evaluate the complexity of the repair to determine if it is a "logical" or "hardware" failure. We provide a written price, not an estimate, and ask for your authorization to proceed.
No data recovery; no cost to you.
Applies to hard drives received by 1pm; evaluation of hard drives received after 1pm will be completed by the following morning.
You authorize the file recovery by faxing to CSI a signed Authorization Form.
You also indicate what device we will transfer your recovered files to.
Recovery is scheduled based on your urgency. If replacement parts are needed, they are pulled from our extensive inventory or located from our network of suppliers.
When data recovery is completed, a list of your recovered files is emailed to you. When you approve the list, the files are downloaded to a drive that is then shipped to you.
You, your IT consultant or PC repair shop will transfer the files to your computer. CSI will retain a copy of your files for 30 days in case you experience a problem with the transfer.
