Warranty Information
For hard drives under manufacturer's warranty, CSI opens the hard drive for clean room stabilization in an environment using processes that do not void the warranty. Upon completion of the data recovery, CSI can return the original drive to you to submit for warranty compensation.
Return of Data
When shipping your failed media to us, please discuss with the data recovery service advisor, which media you prefer for the return of your recovered data. This will expedite getting your data returned to you.

A verification for quality control is performed on all media before being delivered to you.
Quality of our Recovery Effort
We admit it. We regularly communicate with our industry partners in an effort to refine our data recovery processes and techniques. It is more an art than a science as there are so many variables to know about data recovery. We continually develop and search for new equipment, tools and techniques.
Occasionally, we will corroborate with an industry affiliate, because we know one of their technicians is particularly experienced with a specific version of a specific drive. Please know that our commitment to protect the privacy and confidentiality of your data (see Privacy/Non-Disclosure agreement) is maintained and honored by our industry affiliates.

Terms of Payment

Recovery TimeThe committed time to complete the data recovery begins when you provide the written authorization to proceed. The time is completed when your recovered data is transferred to a hard drive or other media that is shipped to you. Delivery time is not part of the Recovery Time. In most cases, CSI will provide you with a list of recovered files one day before the Recovery Time deadline.
