What is a Virus?
A virus is a malicious program designed for data destruction. Viruses are typically distributed through shareware, pirated software, e-mail, or other methods of transporting data. Once the virus infects the computer, it will begin to infect, destroy, overwrite, and corrupt data and software. Just like a human virus, a computer virus can easily infect other systems when it gets in.

What is a compat disc?
A compact disc is a standard for storage of digital data in machine-readable form, accessible with a laser-based reader. CDs are 4-3/4'' in diameter and are faster and more accurate than magnetic tape for data storage. Faster, because even though data is generally written on a CD contiguously within each track, the tracks are directly accessible, meaning the tracks can be accessed and played back in any order.
