Digital Memory
One of our most memorable digital memory recovery cases involves a teary-eyed bride who had lost all her honeymoon pictures after going through airport security. Fortunately she called right away, and we were able to recover every picture. While it is widely believed that airport screening machines won’t affect digitally stored memory, x-ray radiation and static shock may pose a threat. It is best to remove the card from the camera and carry it with you through the security gate.

What is FAT?
FAT is an acronym for File Allocation Table. It is a table that the operating system uses to locate files on the hard drive. Due to file fragmentation, a file may be divided into many sections scattered across the disk. The FAT keeps track of the location of all the pieces.
