Hard Drive Storage
A hard drive is the main storage device in a computer. It stores information internally on platters magnetically. Platters are typically made of aluminum or glass and coated with a layer of magnetic material on both sides. The platter or platters are mounted on a spindle and spun by a motor when the drive is powered on.

What is Raid 1?
RAID 1- Mirroring and Duplexing: All data is written to two hard drives simultaneously. This means if one of the disk fails, the system can automatically switch to the functioning one without any data loss.
